A vocal R&B trio named after its Las Vegas, Nevada home area code, 702 made their long-playing debut for Michael Bivins in 1996 in a Las Vegas hotel lobby during a music convention. 702 has since switched to Biv 10's parent company Motown. Unlike many female R&B contemporaries, 702 consists of skilled singers whose mature vocal stylings shine on their soothing and seductive sophomore album, 702.
